Conservapedia Part II!

I really can’t get enough of Conservapedia.  I guess maybe this will be “Conservapedia Week” for my blog because there is just too much great information for me to report it all in just the one post I put up yesterday.
Apparently the one thing that is really setting Conservapedia apart from other less conservative encyclopedia’s [...]

Conservapedia!

I know a lot of people are used to relying upon Wikipedia for all their encyclopedia needs, but there is a new kid on the block. Conservapedia!!!
Conservapedia brings you the same information but without any liberal bias. They even call it “The Trustworthy Encyclopedia” so you know it’s a one-stop shop for all [...]

Rick Reilly on Michael Jordan’s Hall of Fame speech

This post is really about Rick Reilly’s reaction to Michael Jordan’s Hall of Fame speech, and not so much about the speech itself.
Every once in awhile I like to torture myself by reading a piece written by Reilly.  Rick Reilly of course used to write the back page article for Sports Illustrated, and now writes [...]

An e-mail account wasted….

I think I’ve addressed this troubling topic once before, but since the problem is escalating I thought I might as well vent about it again.  I really, really try hard to keep my Gmail accounts clear of spam, except of course for the one account that was specifically designed to take on all spam.
My plan [...]

Samurai kills burglar

A student at Johns Hopkins University killed a burglar the other day with a samurai sword.   Apparently four college students cornered the burglar in a garage and when he made a move on them, he cut the man’s hand off  and sliced up his chest.
The man had entered a home where several Johns Hopkins students [...]

GM offering a money back guarantee on new cars!

GM’s big new idea is to offer drivers a money back guarantee on any new vehicle purchased.  You have to keep the car for at least 3o days, and you have to return it before 60 or 61 days have expired.   It’s a neat little trick, but I doubt it really helps much.  I just [...]

Good news or bad? Bees fighting cancer.

After a brief summer break, and some time off after the Bar Exam I’ve decided to return to address one of my least favorite topics.  Bees.
I hate bees.  I really can’t think of anything more vile than these tiny little bugs that have relentlessly attacked me throughout my life.  I even wonder sometimes if the [...]

Taking the New York Bar Exam…

I’m not really going to write anything about how I did, or how it went because I don’t really want to relive the test.  However, since I’ve been gone for a bit I thought I would talk a bit about the experience.
When I signed up for the test I was placed in the Buffalo region.  [...]

Googling with Bing

This video more or less highlights the problems for Microsoft in going after Google with Bing!  Google is so entrenched as the search engine of choice for most people that it seems as though Bing won’t stand a chance no matter what it does to differentiate itself.
I have to say I’m kind of happy about [...]

The end of a boycott……U-Haul gets a second chance!

Throughout my life I have encountered very few companies and products that were so awful that I had to resort to the drastic step of boycotting the company.  One such company is U-Haul.  Now the boycott ends tomorrow (unfortunately), but I wanted to put it on the record the PRIMARY reason why I am boycotting [...]
