Googling with Bing

This video more or less highlights the problems for Microsoft in going after Google with Bing!  Google is so entrenched as the search engine of choice for most people that it seems as though Bing won’t stand a chance no matter what it does to differentiate itself.
I have to say I’m kind of happy about [...]

The end of a boycott……U-Haul gets a second chance!

Throughout my life I have encountered very few companies and products that were so awful that I had to resort to the drastic step of boycotting the company.  One such company is U-Haul.  Now the boycott ends tomorrow (unfortunately), but I wanted to put it on the record the PRIMARY reason why I am boycotting [...]

I rent a lot of movies, and every once in awhile I like to look up the new releases before going to the video store to see if it’s worth the drive.  I typically check IMDB, but recently I’ve been checking Hollywood.com instead.
The first time I checked the list I thought it was fairly odd [...]

The Sanford Story

Here we go again.  Another Republican politician caught in the middle of an extra-marital affair.  I’ll give South Carolina Governor Mark Sanford credit though, when he has an affair he does it big time.
His staff started off the fun by claiming that Gov. Sanford was on a hiking trip, which suddenly seemed unlikely when he [...]

Is 56 tattoos on your face too many?

It’s an age old question and it’s one that I have been trying to answer for years.  Is 56 tattoos on your face too many?
Well, clearly the answer is no.  After seeing a picture of Kimberley Vlaminck who recently had 56 star tattoos inked onto her face I can resoundingly say that 56 is not [...]

A federal jury recently found Jammie Thomas-Rasset guilty of illegally downloading music from the internet and fined her a total of 1.9 million.  She only downloaded 24 songs, which means she was charged $80,000 for each song that she could buy on iTunes for 99 cents.
